Statewide System of Support
The California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) was established by the California State Legislature and Governor to advise and assist school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools (local educational agencies (LEAs) achieve the goals and objectives in their Local Control and Accountability Plans (LCAPs). It was created as part of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) legislation that redesigned California ‘s school funding formulas to ensure that there would be sufficient support for students who required additional resources to ensure their success.

The purpose of the SELPA System Improvement Leads (SIL) Project is to work collaboratively within the Statewide System of Support to build the capacity of Special Education Local Plan Areas (SELPAs) and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) with a common goal to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
PENT is dedicated to supporting positive educational environments which use evidence based, positive strategies to achieve high outcomes for all students by disseminating resources and materials for educators throughout the state of California.
CalECSE provides technical assistance, professional learning, and demonstration of tangible practices that have been proven successful in Part C to Part B evaluations under IDEA in the areas of Child Find and promote the use of evidenced-based practices & instructional strategies for preschool students with disabilities.
SIP (Supporting Inclusive Practices) provides unparalleled statewide technical assistance to educational communities in their pursuit of inclusive and equitable systems. Together we seek to empower each student to be purposeful and motivated, resourceful and knowledgeable, and strategic and goal directed within an environment of belonging, community and connection.
Project MUSE as a Special Education Resource Lead, works as capacity builders, connectors, and facilitators to ensure an integrated educational system in California meets the needs of all learners, including students with disabilities. The statewide system of support (SSOS) is comprised of state-funded initiatives to provide coordinated, needs-based, and differentiated resources and support to LEAs. Through the legislative charge, Ed Code Section 52073, Imperial County SELPA was selected to provide evidence-based best practices, resources and training to LEAs for students with disabilities who are also English Learners.
The CAPTAIN network's purpose is to establish a statewide training and technical assistance network focused on promoting the acceptance, support and quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum, that is inclusive of partner agencies who will work collaboratively so that individuals on the autism spectrum and their families can benefit from effective services, supports and resources.
The Open Access Project is based in the foundational belief that with access to quality curriculum & instruction, students with disabilities can engage, actively participate, and learn within inclusive settings.
